Learning at Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery

During the exciting Gallery redevelopment from April – November 2019, art classes will continue at various locations. Please see 'What's On' for location information.

Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery believes in art for all: from students, teachers and practitioners to tour groups and families. Your access to artists, artworks and art education, is important to us.

Lake Macquarie City Council confirmed its commitment to culture and education in 2008, with the construction of the gallery’s purpose-built education room. Featuring state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, the room allowed expansion of our education program. We now offer a wide range of practical art classes, lectures, and residencies by visiting artists and academics.

For further information about the program, or if you wish to book classes, contact Visitor Services by telephone (02) 49210382 or email artgallery@lakemac.nsw.gov.au.
