14 February – 6 April

Charles Collin produced a rich body of photographs documenting the works and workers of BHP and the docklife of Newcastle in the period c1940 - 1970.

A broad selection of his rich silver gelatin photographs was gifted to the gallery by the Newcastle Photographic Society. Although the subject matter of the entire collection is quite diverse, this exhibition featured works based around the theme of and architecture and industrial structures.

A gallery project curated by Rob Cleworth.
