Where there is water…

9 December 2011 – 5 February 2012

With its complex dualities, and endless aesthetic range, the slippery nature of water remains a potent and enchanting subject for artists.

The contemporary visual artists represented in this exhibition mine the metaphysical and narrative associations, the secretive imagery and mesmeric sounds of water to describe survival, environmentalism, emotional conditions, and the otherworldly.
